Andrés Laprida is not only a world-class guitarist, but he is an exciting composer, arranger and producer. At a very early age, he
was introduced to the public by the great Brazilian music masters: Antonio Carlos Jobim, Vinicius de Moraes and Toquinho.

In addition to his records "Latin Heart" and "Sortilegio",
Andrés has participated in numerous recordings from internationally
renowned artists.

He has composed soundtracks for film as well as produced music
for television and advertising.

His score "Florinda" (premiered by organist Hervé Dersabre at
La Madeleine Church, in Paris) was recently recorded and published by Editions Le Chant du Monde, France.

Andrés and his music have traveled throughout many countries such
as Argentina, Norway, Italy, France, Brazil, Canada and the United States.

A resident of New York City, he wrote the original score for the play "Geography of Desire" (written and directed by Academy Award Winner Jaime Sanchez), which was performed at the LeeStrasberg's Actors' Studio.
